Review the AFVA meeting minutes for the latest meetings in 2011

Hi, please review the Agua Fria Village Association (AFVA) meeting Minutes for May, April and March, 2011; and we will act on them at the next meeting June 6th at 6 p.m. at the Nancy Rodriguez Community Center (NRCC).  Please feel free to review and comment, and send ideas/corrections to President WilliamHenryMee@aol.com or Secretary Gilda Montaño at: gjmontano@ci.santa-fe.nm.us.

Minutes are the historical memory of an organization and serve to inform the Agua Fria Traditional Historical Community (THC) area of the AFVA activities and challenges.  In other words, they are intended to keep the officers and members of the AFVA "honest" and working in the best interests of the community and for YOUR quality of life. It is our duty to keep you informed.

Many of the past minutes are also available for review here in on page two under "Minutes 2010" and you can scroll down through the "replies."

----sorry we haven't found an easier way to do it; but we are intent on being transparent and accountable to YOU the AFVA member and/or THC resident.  You ARE OUR COMMUNITY!

In accordance with the Corporation Department of the N.M. Public Regulation Commission regulations, all formal Minutes back to the founding date of the AFVA in 1993 are available for inspection.  William Mee has copies from the period 2007-2008. Earlier copies have been filed by former Secretary Tamara Lichtenstein and former Archivist Hazel Romero in the folder "Agua Fria Village Association" at the History Library and Archives at the Museum of New Mexico, of the Cultural Affairs Department.  Located at the intersection of Washington Avenue and Palace Avenue.  Blanket requests for inspection of "all minutes" will be charged appropriate research and photocopying fees.  Occasional emailed copies can be free and AFVA members are entitled to free copies (the 'privileges of membership').
